Privacy Policy for LoopTidy
1. Introduction
LoopTidy (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information when you use the LoopTidy iOS application (the “App”).
2. Local-first architecture
LoopTidy is designed with a strict local-first architecture:
- No cloud syncing: Loop data is stored on your device using SQLite and related on-device storage.
- No external servers: We do not operate backend servers that receive, process, or store your loop content.
- No third-party analytics: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs to track your behavior.
3. Data we collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data from you on our servers when you use the App.
Apple may provide anonymous crash diagnostics if you opt in through iOS system settings. That data is handled by Apple under their privacy policy.
4. Permissions we request
- Face ID / Touch ID (optional): If you enable App lock in Settings, the App uses local biometric authentication. Your biometric data never leaves your device’s Secure Enclave.
- Notifications (optional): If you set a local reminder on a loop, the App requests permission to schedule an on-device notification. We do not use a remote push notification server.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete loops, use Backup & Restore to clear data, or uninstall the App.
6. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top when changes are made.
